Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani
Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al-Thani was born in Doha, Qatar, in 1948, and has since emerged as one of the most prominent business leaders in Qatar and the Middle East. Driven by a profound passion for heritage, literature, and history, he established the Al Faisal Global Foundation for Culture and Knowledge. Through this foundation, he significantly contributes to the preservation of Qatari, Arab, Islamic, and global human heritage by commissioning, collecting, and publishing a vast array of scholarly works that have enriched the global intellectual landscape. His lifelong dedication is further reflected in his extensive acquisition of rare documents and artifacts that chronicle the evolution of human civilization across the ages. Several of his works have been translated into multiple languages and have attained significant academic prestige; notably, his book 'Qatar Through My Eyes' is included in the curricula of various esteemed institutions, including Georgetown University in Qatar.
